For the past 20 years, Jeanmarie Guenot has been working in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. Currently, she’s working for a company called Amphivena Therapeutics — this is not to say, however, it is the extent of her experience. She has a great deal of experience in her primary fields, having experience with both public and private companies over the years.
Prior to her time at Amphivena Therapeutics, Jeanmarie Guenot founded a company of her own — under the name SKS Ocular. The company focused primarily on ophthalmic-related businesses and was actually the first company Guenot founded, being founded in 2009. Guenot has held a variety of leadership roles — for example, she was the vice president at PDL BioPharma from 2003 to 2008, as well as holding a team leader position at Hoffman-La Roche from 1993 to 1999. All of this, naturally, has lead to her current role — president & CEO of Amphivena Therapeutics.
CrunchBase shows us that one of Guenot’s biggest accomplishments is easily her success in the business field. She took a few short years to work herself up from a career as a team leader to vice president. More specifically, it took roughly 9 years for her to receive her first business position — as aforementioned, PDL BioPharma. Since this position, she’s had little to no trouble landing even more jobs in the business field and has easily built a name for herself in both the pharmaceutical and business industries.
One additional accomplishment of Guenot’s is her Ph.D. — earned from the University of California — Guenot attended this college from 1987 – 1993. Roughly six years after this endeavor, however, Guenot decided to further buff her education — and went for an MBA at the University of Pennsylvania from 1999 – 2001.
All in all, it’s fairly easy to see Guenot has had many various accomplishments throughout the years — all of which have lead to her current career at Amphivena Therapeutics, and likely will lead to a great future with them and beyond.
